- Quilting ruler, rotary cutter, and mat
Thanks to the help of simple patchwork, the peppermint present quilt block is beyond easy to make.
Starting with a classic pinwheel in the center and building outward, this block is a quick sew.
You will need to make 2 Peppermint Present quilt blocks to complete the Handmade with Love quilt top.
With these blocks complete, we are down to the last block\s to stitch together. Now, I’m sure many of you will jump ahead and race to the finish line but I look forward to showing off my scrappy version of the final block.
I just loved using all those leftover fabric bits to complete the Handmade with Love quilt blocks.

Thank you Heather for all your great ideas and swaps! I love them! I bought the giant pattern block patterns. I want to make them into potholders. The 6” block is to small and the 12” block is to big. How do I increase the blocks? Like to get a 8 or 9 inch block. Thank you for any help!
Oh, I’m so glad to hear that you are enjoying them. To increase the size of the smaller blocks, just add a simple border around the outside edge.
