If you have published a new scrap friendly pattern or tutorial, or have a sewing tip designed around working with fabric scraps, we’d love to take a look and consider sharing it with our readers.
In order to help us share your work, we will need some information. Please complete the below form and help us create a new article to publish on the site about your work.
To make sure that we have everything right and the article is the best it can possibly be, here are our submission guidelines:
- Your article title should be the name of your pattern/tutorial/tip or something appropriate for what you are sharing.
- The URL should be the URL of the page where the pattern can be bought or downloaded.
- The post content will be used as the text for your article so please don’t just write the name of the pattern or just a few words. Tell us some of the special features, how easy or difficult it is to make, give finished measurements and even a material/supply list. Talk to the readers and make them want to click through and buy your pattern!
- Send us a single image that really showcases your design. This image will be used on Pinterest to drive more traffic so make it in a good formation for Pinterest, tall rather than wide. To fit the theme of this site, images should be at least 620px wide and no more than 1500px wide or tall.
Please complete the details below for your article to appear on Sewing with Scraps, and then send your “pinnable” image to us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
*The information provided on this form will be the article on Sewing With Scraps so please help us feature your work!
Remember, article publication is free and easy. Submission does not guarantee article publication so if you are not accepted the first time, please do come back again and let us know about your next great scrap fabric pattern or sewing tip.
