8 Disappearing Quilt Tutorials
| |One of the coolest things about quilting is the endless methods for cutting and sewing fabric together to create unique and interesting shapes. Once you have a basic patchwork block down, it’s time for transformation. With a few additional cuts and a bit of rearranging, a new block appears and the traditional patchwork disappears hence the “disappearing” block reference. When creating disappearing blocks we highly recommend working with a rotary cutter and clear ruler. Be sure your blade is sharp or replace it with a fresh one. The video below includes a few more ways to get creative with a basic 9 patch block.
