| |Put your left over fat quarters to good use. We’ve rounded up projects depending on how many fat quarters you’d like to use from your stash. From 10 fat quarters to 1 fat quarter, we have a fat quarter sewing project to suit. Additional fabrics for backgrounds, binding and backing may be required, but making a dent in an orphaned fat quarter stack is our goal!
10 Fat Quarters
You can sew a 66” x 55” throw size Whirlwind Quilt with 10 fat quarters to make 30 blocks. The pattern is beginner friendly, fast to sew, and FREE!
9 Fat Quarters
You can sew a 56″ x 72″ throw size Triangle Peaks Quilt with 9 fat quarters. The Triangle Peaks pattern is modern and beginner friendly.
8 Fat Quarters
You can sew a 36″ x 52″ Triangle Jitters baby quilt with 8 fat quarters. If you want the ombré look, just find 8 fat quarters that are stair-stepping shades between a primary and secondary color.
7 Fat Quarters
You can sew the 64″ x 72″ throw size Summer Haze Quilt Pattern with 7 fat quarters. Summer Haze is a lovely quilt that is fast, fun, and beginner-friendly.
6 Fat Quarters
You can sew the Quick Triangles Baby Quilt with 6 fat quarters. This free pattern is made up of larger half square triangles with a speedy sewing technique.
5 Fat Quarters
