HEATHER BRIGGS – MY SEW QUILTY LIFE
Heather is the quilter and pattern designer behind My Sew Quilty Life. She started her business in Oct. 2020 after transitioning from a newborn photographer. She loves coming up with new quilt designs and seeing everyone’s quilts made from her designs. Floral designs are some of her favorites. After a chance meeting, Becca and Gail put their creative minds and sewing efforts to work designing thoughtful patterns and tutorials. The results are patterns that allow even the very beginner to confidently create well-fitting bespoke garments. We have no doubt that you will be inspired by these two military wives who love to sew.
The pattern bundle includes the Thistle Necktie. Thistle is a traditional necktie for sizes S through XL. This pattern is a quick sew and makes a perfect gift for someone special in your life. Emma Jean Jansen
Emma Jean Jansen has been creating patchwork quilts since she was a teenager. She learned patchwork from her mother, and together they ran Ballarat Patchwork for over 10 years. In May 2016, Emma released her first book called By The Bundle, published by Lucky Spool Media.
Emma is also a qualified Textile Designer getting her degree from RMIT and has released 7 fabrics ranges with the Australian company Ella Blue. Emma loves designing her own quilts and is known for her use of bright colours and re-take on traditional piecing.
The pattern bundle includes her Colour Squared Quilt Mini. The Colour Squared Quilt is the perfect scrap quilt for all those leftover pieces of fabrics from other projects. Save up those 2 ½” squares leftover from other projects and make blocks as you go and before you know it, you will have a quilt!
