Scrappy Pet Leash
Sewing for our four legged friends is a fun way to return a little love they show us through soft cuddles, slobbery kisses, or playful attention.
Don’t let your faithful friend be the only one in the household you haven’t sewn for! Whether you have a dog, cat, mini donkey, or goat, your pet may benefit from a scrappy handmade leash.
Grab a few necessary tools, and this easy-to-sew project will be done in no time! Using leftover charm squares reduces your cutting time, but random scraps work equally as well. For an extra personalized touch, consider embroidering your pet’s name along the edge of your DIY pet leash.
PET LEASH SUPPLIES:
- 20 charm squares (5” squares)
- DecorBond fusible interfacing (or similar)
- swivel clasp clip with a 1” opening for the strap
- a heavy-duty needle for your sewing machine (size 100/116 or larger)
