Quilted Chicken Bread Basket Cover

- 1/2 yard printed cotton fabric
- 1/2 yard solid cotton fabric
- felt squares (2) colors
- 1/4″ elastic
- 2 small buttons
- double fold bias tape
- rotary cutter, cutting mat and quilting ruler
- Chaco quilting marker
- quilt basting spray
- quilt batting – Pellon TP971F fusible works great
- sewing machine & basic sewing supplies
- iron and ironing board
- small oval basket with no handles
The Chicken Basket Cover can be used for more than just bread. Unclutter a bathroom countertop with a covered basket with easy access. The cover might conceal feminine products when placed on the back of a toilet. Or, simply use the cover as a tea or coffee mug cozy.
