Free Wild Star Quilt Pattern

The only requirements to make this quilt are assorted scraps, foundation fabric, and background fabric.

Customize the size and layout by adding scrappy borders. Scrappy quilt binding would really shine with the Wild Star Quilt as well.

The Wild Star Quilt uses foundation fabric as a template for creating the diamonds. The fabric foundation acts as a stabilizer when sewing the small pieces of fabric together. Since you will never see the foundation fabric, it’s a great place to use muslin scraps or light colored prints you no longer enjoy. Place the wrong side up on prints in order to reduce the chance of anything showing through.
