The circle quilted placemat tutorial uses piping around the perimeter for a beautiful finish. The finished placemats are 16″ in diameter.
Supplies:
- assorted fat quarters
- fusible fleece
- ¼” piping
- clear quilt ruler
- heat erasing marking tool
- seam gauge
- seam ripper
- scissors or rotary cutter and mat
- iron and ironing board
- basic sewing supplies
- sewing machine
Coordinate your fabric scraps for the circle placemats with your dishes or make a set for every holiday. The reversible design yields many possibilities. Use one side for Thanksgiving, then flip them for Christmas!
