Chubby Lunch Tote Free Pattern

Last week we flooded you with inspiring back to school pattern round ups. This week we thought we would hone in on some specific patterns to get your kiddos supplied for school. Of course, today’s feature pattern, the Chubby Lunch Tote, works just as well for the office as it does for the cafeteria.

The finished dimensions of this tote are approximately 7” tall (not including the handles), 8” wide, and 6” deep. We love this “chubby” size for a lunch bag, but that doesn’t mean you have to limit it to lunchtime only. Feel free to substitute fusible fleece for the insulated batting and use it as a small tote or zippered storage.

The Chubby Lunch Tote pattern is Fat Quarter Friendly. Pay special attention when using directional fabrics though.

Have fun with colorful zippers, quilt patterns, and scrappy designs. Take your lunch to work or school in a little handmade style. We love the idea of adding a monogram to the side of the Chubby Lunch Tote too.
