Charm Pack Chevron Lovey Tutorial
| |Spring seems to be an opportune time to host baby showers, so we thought we would kick off a series of posts with baby gift ideas you can sew with scraps. Use these gift ideas on their own or combine them with others for a sweet set.
A lovey is simply a tiny blanket, like a security blanket that is easy to stuff in a diaper bag or stash in the stroller! This chevron style makes use of charm square scraps to create the design. Cuddle or minky fabric for the back makes the lovey extra soft.
Supplies
- 2 charm packs – one should be prints and the other should be a solid color
- 1/2 yard of minky fabric
- sewing machine
- basic sewing supplies
- iron & ironing board
- rotary cutter and mat
Combine the lovey with a Patchwork Bib for an extra special gift. For more baby quilt sewing patterns check our pattern library.
