Rose Wristlet Pincushion Pattern | Video
| |Pincushions are by far the most coveted sewing accessory in our studio and we love how this one looks! The rose wristlet pincushion is both fashionable & functional.
The pattern is perfect for scraps. We suggest mixing wild colors together with bold prints for amazing results. Just look at all the amazing combinations. Heck, you could make a bunch and match them to your outfit everyday of the week.
The simple pattern instructions make this pretty rose wristlet pincushion an easy to make project that you can finish in an afternoon. Seriously, those are our favorite! Plus, once you have the rose flower technique down, you can do so much more with the pattern. Think brooch, hat or bag embellishment. We think a bunch of roses grouped together would look stunning.
Not only is the wristlet easy to make but the velcro closure makes allows you to make it adjustable. Simply increase the length of the band and turn the velcro lengthwise and adjust as needed. Since some of you may have never sewn velcro on your sewing machine, we thought we’d share this quick video with Colleen G Lea.
