• thin cotton quilt batting
• 1 zipper at least 20” long
• quilter’s ruler
• rotary cutter & self healing mat
• quilt basting spray (such as SpraynBond) or curved safety pins
• fabric marking pen or pencil
• sewing machine
• thread to match
