Poppet Pouch Pattern

When we aren’t sewing quilts, zipper pouches are our next favorite thing to sew. Every variation in size, shape, or color gives a little thrill. The Poppet Pouches are square in shape and couldn’t be cuter! The Poppet Pouch Pattern includes 3 sizes that can nest inside one another for a cute gift set.

Finished size (approximately):
Mini: 3 ½” W x 3 ½” H x 1 ¾” D
Small: 4 ½” W x 4 ½” H x 1 ¾” D
Large: 6 ½” W x 6 ½” H x 1 ¾” D

The square side of the pouch is the perfect spot to feature a fussy cut design, add a monogram, or include a little patchwork. You could even put an abandoned quilt block to use or include some applique.

We consider the Poppet Pouch to be an intermediate level zipper pouch sewing pattern due to sewing curves and inserting the zipper.
