Calendar Quilt Sew Hometown
| |The girls at Inspiring Stitches are at it again! They have just released the 2019 calendar quilt called Sew Hometown and it’s a beauty.
Similar to their debut quilt pattern, Heartland Heritage, Sew Hometown is all about sewing your scraps and you know that’s right up our alley!! The pattern is formatted into a stand up desk calendar that looks awesome in any space. Each calendar page has just enough space for you to jot down appointments and stay on track with your daily chores. While the backside has the details of the block. We are truly in love!
The quilt pattern design has you stitching 3 to 5 new blocks each month. That means that you get to really dig into each design and really learn the process.
As the name suggests, this year is all about the hometown. We imagine that the final quilts will vary in color and feel based on the makers location in the world.
Each block is unique with a quirky edge. A few of our favorites from the pattern include the butterfly and birdhouse. The improv piecing technique is sure to help us stitch up our scraps. We love how the improv technique will ensure that each block is just as unique as it’s maker.
